I got me a BOSS BD-2 Pedal

I was at the local second hand shop not far from my place looking for a cheap bass guitar for my guitar lessons but lo and behold, what did I spy in the cabinet?? A BOSS BD-2 pedal! Absolute mint condition other than the velcro on the bottom of it. Ive been playing around with the pedal as ive never really messed around with one for any length of time and I must say that this pedal is absolutely brilliant! Such a versatile sound!
So I did some looking around YouTube for some demo's and have come to the conclusion that I need to make a demo myself! Not saying that there is anything wrong with the demo's but I have found that they miss the point of this pedal. Over the next few days ill put together some sounds and video for a new episode of the Yet Another Pedal Demo series but this one will not be like the other demos of this pedal.
I will be demo'ing the pedal in a way that I would use this pedal, not as distortion / overdrive pedal but as a gain stage, which I reckon is the way it was designed to be used. But then again, this is all subjective so you'll just have to wait till I get the demo done.
This weekend ill put this pedal to the test a jam session at a friends place so we'll see how it goes in a jam situation. Band rehearsals for The Cilikis are over until after Christmas so I cant test her out with the band.
