    • Celestion G12-T75 (well worn in, over 20yrs old)
  • Amp
    • Marshall DSL100H - Via the power amp section (via return loop)

Files Contain 2 types, Speaker Cap CENTRE and speaker CAP EDGE at different distances from the speaker.  These IR's are free for you to use at your own discretion! Enjoy!  Ill upload more versions later if I could be bothered.   I would like to IR my WSG ET-65 Speakers as well from the same cabinet.  Maybe even IR two speakers blended, that'd be interesting!

Peavey Basic 60 Bass Speaker Impulse Response Files

Last Updated 25th May 2025

Click here to download → Peavey Basic 60 Cabinet Impulse Response Captures

IR Specifications

  • WAV Files
    • 24bit - 44.1k
  • Microphone
    • Sennheiser E609
  • Speaker
    • Either Peavey Scorpion speaker or a Peavey Black Widow speaker (the internet seems a bit fuzzy on what the actual speaker is but it sounds good to me!)
  • Amp
    • Peavey Basic 60- via the power amp section (via return loop)

The files ive modelled are done with white noise samples of about 100ms in length.  I used my awesome Sennheiser E609 microphone in three main central positions, Far (60cm), Medium (30cm) and Close (as close as I could get it, about 3 cms from the cloth).  Also did close edge micing and 45 degree outward facing from the cone.  Each impulse response contains a sample using white noise (I had pink noise samples in as well but there was some ringing sound in them but not the white samples).  BUT they are FREE and you can do what ever you like with them, just credit me where posible please.
